Sarah Maliani

Financial Representative

Sarah graduated from the State University of Oswego, New York in 2008 with a dual major in Elementary Education and Social Studies. She arrived to Oswego on a Figure Skating Scholarship and competed nationwide. Sarah completed her Masters in Special Education in 2011, from Grand Canyon University. After teaching for a few years as a Social Studies teacher at a Juvenile Detention Center; Sarah learned that she felt the most self-fulfilled in a competitive environment, while helping others- where the sky is the limit when it comes to learning.

After spending a few years in the insurance world, Sarah joined our team as an agent in January 2019. Sarah still wears her "teaching hat" while gaging how her clients receive and interpret information, in order for her to simplify complex concepts in a way her clients understand. Her theory is "no two brains are exactly alike." She has a special way of breaking barriers to the intimidation factors and preconceptions of the financial world. Sarah is no stranger to collaborating with seasoned members of her team to provide the best strategies and education for her clients.  She naturally delivers a one-of-a-kind experience and ensures that clients know that they are not only valued, but family. The differentiator with Sarah is she sees people and families; and not bottom lines. Sarah has a creative and out of box thought process to ensure all her clients have customized blue prints and solutions for their current financial situations and future financial goals. She specializes in college funding, working with business owners and mortgage protection.

Sarah has one child, Brooklyn Michael and resides in Utica, NY with their three cats: Cuse, Robinson and Rockefeller. When Sarah is not working, she works her side gig as Brooklyn's taxi driver. She can be found at the football field, the basketball court, a training facility or the baseball diamond; making sure everyone has snacks. Brooklyn uses his allowance money to take Sarah on a date once a month to learn all the ways to be the best gentleman. His favorite thing to do is hold the door open for people and sparking a conversation with the hostess. Sarah and Brooklyn's favorite thing to do is watch sports. When they're not screaming at the TV while watching the Buffalo Bills, Brooklyn Nets, and the Yankees; their favorite place to be is at the Utica Blue Sox Stadium at Murnane field catching a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game.

Sarah was named Rookie of the Year for Evolution Financial Group in 2019 and received the Ethan Allen Award for outstanding achievement for National Life Group in 2019.
