Stefan Tunaru LUTCF

Mr. Stefan Tunaru entered the Financial Services Industry in 2008. He was the leader in the Southern Connecticut Office with New York Life for eight consecutive years achieving multiple time chairman and president awards.

In 2010 he earned the Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. The LUTCF is conferred only upon those individuals who meet or exceed the exacting qualification standards determined by the two organizations that jointly sponsor the designation, the American College and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

He is a member since 2013 of the Million Dollar Round Table ( MDRT)* and the Court of the Table. MDRT is the premiere association of financial professionals and is made up of the world's leading life insurance and financial professionals. MDRT membership is recognized internationally as the standard of excellence in the life insurance and financial services industry. 

He was named to Forbes Top Financial Security Professionals Best-in–CT State List in 2022**. The individuals named to this list of distinguished professionals were chosen based on many criteria considered by an independent research firm.

Mr. Tunaru is specialized in customized strategies that address both wealth accumulation and estate planning. He is providing a competitive array of traditional investment and insurance solutions for his clients residing in New York, Greenwich, New Canaan, Westport, Fairfield and Darien in Southern Connecticut.

He currently resides in Fairfield, CT with his wife Mihaela and two children, Alexandru and Elisa. Alexandru is a former Fordham- D1 swimmer and now is a student at Medical School.

Elisa is passionate about tennis and music, being a student-athlete in High School.

He enjoys swimming and playing tennis with his family and friends.

Stefan is a Registered Representative of Equity Services, Inc. and offers securities in CT. Stefan is insurance licensed in the State of CT.
